Food items enter stock with a batch and an expiry date, and the nearest to expire leaves first (FEFO). Items approaching expiry gather in their own list, so you discount or return them — nothing is forgotten on the shelf.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with an electronic scale and a fiscal printer?

Yes. The POS screen is configured to work with barcode scanners, electronic scales and payment terminals. Weighed items are put on the scale at the till and the price is calculated automatically.

How is expiry-date tracking handled?

Products enter stock with a lot number and expiry date. On the way out the FEFO rule applies: the lot that expires first ships first. Products approaching their date are collected in a separate warning list.

Does the till keep working when the internet drops?

Yes. The point of sale can work offline; when the connection returns, sales are uploaded to the central system automatically. Selling never stops during a shift.
